"You know what the problem is? They gave me people." I laughed.
Then I realized that's exactly how many supervisors feel.
Most people are promoted because they're good at their jobs. Suddenly they're expected to interview, coach, document, hold people accountable, navigate employment law, and somehow keep everyone happy.
The work was the easy part. The people part is where things get interesting.
That's why I'm launching Summer School for Supervisors beginning July 22.
Twelve virtual lunch-and-learn 30 minute sessions covering the things most supervisors wish someone had taught them sooner.
BYOL (Bring your own lunch). I'll bring the knowledge.

Because nobody should have to figure supervision out by trial and error.
