One of our favorite moments of the season is the MMG Shootout, where the champions from each flight, battle it out for the overall championship title in our Men’s Member Guest. 🏆

The competition is fierce, the pressure is on, and the excitement is unmatched as players compete for the championship. Congratulations to our 2026 Men’s Member Guest Champions, Shadi Makarechi and Michael Feldman!

Highlights from our 2026 Men’s Member Guest!

This past weekend, we hosted our 2026 Men’s Member Guest, and it was a tremendous success. From great golf and outstanding food to memorable moments and exciting victories, it was a weekend enjoyed by members and guests alike. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event so special.

Our 2026 Men’s Member Guest is officially underway! ⛳️

The day kicked off with our practice rounds, a TaylorMade Pro Shop Shopping Experience, followed by our 9-Hole Par 3 Course. Now, it’s time for Stag Night!

Here’s to a fantastic weekend of golf, great company, and the traditions that make the Men’s Member Guest one of our favorite events of the year. Let the fun begin! 🍻🏌️‍♂️

This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the club will be closed as we host our Men’s Member Guest. This includes Coastal Kitchen, the golf course, driving range, and pro shop.

Join us today or tomorrow before the festivities begin, and we’ll see everyone back at the club on Sunday! We look forward to an exciting weekend of competition, camaraderie, and great memories.

This week, Joe Gemma, Assistant General Manager at Bayside, Tim Purdy, Director of Culinary Operations, Mackenzie Kayda, Director of Hospitality, and Ciera Hurley, Sales & Marketing Manager at Bear Trap Dunes, attended the 2026 Fusion Forum in Tucson, Arizona.

The forum focused on collaboration between Sales & Marketing and Food & Beverage teams across Troon-managed clubs, providing valuable opportunities to learn, connect, and share ideas.

Our clubs are proud to bring home two wins from the event:

🏆 Fusion Challenge Champions
Throughout the week, attendees worked in teams on a collaborative project that was presented to all forum participants. Ciera Hurley and Tim Purdy were part of the winning team, competing against more than 200 participants. Ciera was selected as one of two presenters for the project, which earned 1st Place overall.

🌮 Taco Takedown Runner-Up
Tim Purdy and Joe Gemma competed in the highly anticipated annual Taco Takedown, a live cooking competition featuring Troon chefs from across the country. Their steak taco earned an impressive 2nd Place finish.

Congratulations to the team on a successful week in Arizona!

Last Wednesday, the WGA at BTD hosted their first What’s Up Wednesday of the season! ⛳️✨

The event features a clinic, followed by a 9-hole scramble, and concluded with a dinner buffet where members can relax and enjoy time together after play. Events like these are what make membership at BTD so special — creating opportunities to connect both on and off the course.

As we celebrate Troon Women’s Golf Month throughout June, we are proud to continue growing the game and fostering such a welcoming and supportive women’s golf community here at BTD. Our members are already looking forward to the next What’s Up Wednesday on June 24th!

June is Troon Women’s Golf Month ⛳️

At Bear Trap Dunes, we believe golf is for everyone, and this month we’re celebrating the women helping grow the game and create a welcoming community both on and off the course.

Women’s Golf Month also has us reflecting on our 2025 Ladies Member-Guest — the largest LMG in Bear Trap Dunes history, so far! We are proud to have such an incredible community of ladies at BTD who continue to push the growth of the game while fostering such a supportive environment for all.
