Pilates on Tour, London
with Balanced Body Pilates
Last weekend we traveled to London for some continuing education and got to check in on the pulse of the international Pilates community.

The conference started with a key note on how to keep integrity in the Pilates industry. Keeping the “Pilates, in Pilates” was the theme of the weekend. The answer is through Education and certification.

The deeper you dive into Pilates the more fascinating it becomes.

What differentiates Pilates professionals, is that we prioritize long-term goals health goals over their short-term goals.

On day one I took a workshop on combing posture changes of aging with Pilates while Jess took a workshop on pre and postnatal myofascial release.

On day two I took a workshop with the inspiring Joy Puelo called “wheels of motion” on Spinal mobility. It was great to be the student for a change.

We snuck in some killer chair and mat work outs as well. It was an inspiring weekend with top industry professionals.

Friday Night Event 2/27 5pm
This class will guide you through mobility movements into long hold stretches. To increase range of motions a stretch must be held for 3 minutes. This class will start with group movement and then flow into a structured series of holds. We will use props such as the yoga strap and lacrosse ball to introduce the principles of myofascial release.

During Friday evening events, we provide champagne and 20% off merchandise.

2026 Group Challenge Midway
Contract pricing is currently $175 per month.
Lock in pricing means this is your price to keep for as long as you keep your contract. The OG’s, the original gold or the original gangsters that I like to call them, still have the $120 per month pricing option from 2018.
Contracts are 12 months minimum (continuous) and go up to $185 in the spring.
