Progressive Martial Arts Academy has been offering martial arts and self defense training since 1989. We offer classes in a variety of martial arts styles for students of all ages, from children to adults. Our kids’ programs will teach your child true self-defense while instilling the characteristics of a true martial artist, such as discipline, focus, respect, and confidence. It's never too late

This summer camp is full, but we have a few spots left in our “5 Animals of Kenpo” summer camp in Knoxville!

5 Animals of Kenpo Summer Camp Details: 
Instructor: David Corrigan
Dates: June 15–19
Location: PMA Knoxville
Cost: $300 ($250 for PMA students)
Capacity: 20 students
This is our traditional Kenpo camp, and this year marks the 13th time we’ve run it. The kids love it, and they leave the week with a big boost in their Kenpo skills.

PMA Oak Ridge took a small team down to Huntsville this weekend for the Chewjitsu Open! We are so proud of the effort and toughness displayed by all of our competitors yesterday. We finished the day with 16 year old Judah Phillips competing in the adult division. He fought well but lost his first two no gi matches, then battled back to take 3rd place in the division before going undefeated in the gi and bringing home 1st place!

That’s a wrap on our Spring Competition Season! Time for No Gi Summer, the PMA Summer Showdown, and then the competition team will pick it back up in August for our Fall season. Congratulations to all of our competitors on a great season!
