Say hello to Miss Cheyenne! Part of the Big City family since she was three, Cheyenne graduated as a student here in 2022 and is now finishing a dual degree in Dance and Digital Marketing at Western Michigan University in May 2026.

She's danced under choreographers Seyong Kim, Katie Hatfield, and Kaitlyn Po***ck, and became our social media manager during Season 26. Now, she's coming full circle to join our teaching staff!

โœจMeet Mr. Dan โœจ

Dan started his professional dance career at 17, training right here at Big City Dance Center in Detroit.

Since then he's worked with choreographers like Ade Obayomi, Blake McGrath, Kam Saunders, Matt Cady, and Christa Smutek, performed at festivals and showcases across the country, and spent three years with SueMo Dance Company (now Water Street Dance Milwaukee), where he also choreographed for their sister company, SueMo II.

He's stepped into modeling and TV too, including work with Disney Channel, and spent time building his career in LA before coming back to the Midwest.

Now he's here teaching, choreographing, and performing, and sharing everything he's learned along the way with our dancers.
