We are thrilled to announce the return of The Tri Squad, a group training program for womxn! We had such a blast training together last year, and are excited to bring back this program with some awesome additions.

This 10 week program is for anyone doing a late season (August/September) Sprint or Olympic Tri. The program will include a training program by Tri It Your Way Coaching, nutrition workshop with RD Briana Bruinooge, a 1:1 functional strength session with PTA Bryan Waltimyer from Roots Integrative Therapies, info and resources you need to feel ready for your event, a community to train with, Q&A calls, meetups, deep discounts on swim and transition clinics and more.

Whether you're newer to triathlon and looking for guidance on how to train, or you've got some experience and are looking to level up your training, we invite you to join us!

We kick off the week of June 28th, and early bird pricing is valid through June 8th. Learn all about it and register at the link below.

The Tri Squad is open to any individual who identifies as a womxn including cis, trans, non-binary, or any female-identifying persons. You do not have to be a SHEcoast member to join us!

SHEcoast Multisport, Great Bay Masters and Tri It Your Way Coaching are teaming up to host an open water swim meetup this Saturday. This event is open to all swimmers and we invite you to join us!

This is a great opportunity to meet other swimmers, get prepped for Landshark or another open water event, and practice your open water skills under the watchful eye of lifeguards. We hope to see you there!

Saturday, 5/30, 10 am
Lake Gardner, Amesbury, MA
Swimmers should be comfortable swimming 200 yards nonstop (any stroke, any pace) to join.

Registration link with additional below.

For safety purposes, all swimmers must be able to swim 200 yards nonstop to join in this meetup (any stroke, no pace requirements).

Please note, this event is NOT a swim clinic. While there will be lifeguards on paddleboards, our primary goal is helping to keep the swimmers safe and helping to connect the swim community, so there will not be a clinic portion at this event. If you’re looking for instruction, join our clinic on June 14th!

Come on out this season to prepare for your best open water season yet!

Our open water skills clinic (in the pool) is this Sunday! If you have open water plans this year, we hope you'll join us to practice all the skills you'll need for a great open water experience.

We'll cover skills including sighting, "seeding" strategy, managing race anxiety/panic in the water, various race starts, surging, passing, cornering, drafting and swimming in crowded/choppy waters. All levels of open water experience are welcome - you need to be able to be able to tread water.

Sunday, 5/3, 9-10:30 am
Newburyport YWCA

Thank you to all who came out. Loved chatting about prepping for big events, what gear we find essential, what we find in ourselves when pushing hard, mantras, and more!

We are thrilled to welcome Briana Bruinooge of New England Nutrition & Exercise as a sponsor for 2026!

Briana is a Sports Dietician who has worked with athletes and active folks of all backgrounds. Many of our members have worked with her to improve their fueling for sport and life, and we're so excited to have her on board as a supporter of our team!

Read on below for more about Briana and how to get in touch. And, stay tuned for an exciting collaboration happening this summer!

Meet Briana Bruinooge, the Sports Dietitian Nutritionist behind New England Nutrition and Exercise. Briana helps runners, cyclists, and active people fuel themselves to feel their best through 1:1 nutrition coaching and group courses. In a world dominated by diet culture, fueling well can feel overwhelming. Briana takes a non-diet, science-based approach, helping athletes build sustainable nutrition habits while reinforcing that food is both fuel and nourishment.

She's an athlete, outdoor enthusiast and an outdoor adventure chef. She enjoys running, cycling, rock climbing, soccer, and alpine skiing in New Hampshire and beyond. This includes gravel biking, mountain biking, and triathlons. Her longest race has been a 50K trail run in Maine.

If you want to feel your best, stay strong and support a healthy relationship with food and body, Briana can coach you along the way with 1:1 nutrition coaching or through group courses.

We had a blast at our MyZone Spin and Mobility class with .portsmouth this weekend!

We played a game (for prizes, because we love a little friendly competition!) aiming for specific heart rate zones and practiced controlling our heart rates to stay within certain ranges. It was challenging and oh so fun! Liz brings high energy, motivation, great music and laughter to her classes and that’s exactly the kind of class we love.

LizFit has a variety of membership/class pass options and different types of classes from cycling, HIIT, yoga/mobility and kickboxing. Check out the schedule at lizfit.net to become a part of this welcoming and motivating community!

Thanks to Liz for hosting this class and supporting our team!
