Our goal is to help our students find that courage and determination. A Step Ahead Dance Center is committed to providing quality

dance education to students ages three to adult in a positive, nurturing environment. Each student is challenged to improve technique, strength and flexibility in all levels of dance training. At A Step Ahead Dance, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships that dance provides. Financial circumstances should never stand in the way of a dancer's passion.

Step Up for A Step Ahead was created to help make dance accessible for every family. Every dollar donated goes directly toward supporting dancers in need, helping cover expenses such as:

Dance tuition and lessons
Competition and performance fees
Costumes
Dance shoes and required apparel

We wish all of our dancers and their families a happy and safe first day of school. Best wishes to our recent seniors who are beginning their college journeys as well! We can't wait to see everyone and hear about those first weeks of school very soon.

Classes for our 2026-2027 Main Session begin on Saturday, September 12th. There's still plenty of time to join us for what's sure to be an epically fun year of dance.

Missed last night's Open House? We will be onsite this evening, from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for our first ever Back to Dance sale and we're more than happy to meet you, give your a tour, discuss class options for your family and if things work, register you onsite.

The sale is open to all returning and new students of our studio. We're streamlining this very busy time of year by offering families a chance to be measured and order ballet, tap and jazz shoes (children's sizes) as well as measure your dancer for attire needed for class. Be sure to check out our studio merch and other items for sale. There's items perfect for classes or even Halloween or dress-up bins.

We believe that everyone should get to experience the joy of dance! A Step Ahead Dance's Dance Stars and Dance Comets programs are open to all who may benefit from an inclusive and sensory friendly dance experience.

Join us for our Open House next Wednesday, 8/26 from 5:30 - 7:30PM to meet our caring and welcoming faculty and staff, tour our studio home and discuss and get answers to all of your questions or concerns. We'll even help get your dancer registered for class onsite.
