NYSSA membership increases for this year, requires us to modify our current bylaws which explicitly state the dues amount. Any future adjustment would also require a formal bylaw amendment. The purpose of this meeting is to present proposed bylaw changes for membership review. The proposed amendment would remove the specific monetary amount from the bylaws and replace it with more general language. This would allow future dues adjustments, if necessary, to be considered and approved by vote at a regular membership meeting, with all related forms updated accordingly. We will also discuss Barn expansion and the Mudge Creek crossing. Hope to see you there.

One of your trails goes thru my property. Please put on your agenda that itโ€™s illegal to chase deer on a snowmobile. Also, itโ€™s just a cruel thing to do. I saw a rider on my property chase a dozen deer over 200 yards off the main trail in deep snow. The next day I found a dead deer. Can not prove how it died but it was very close to where I saw the chase. I have watched hundreds of sleds go thru my property without issue and enjoy its use, it only takes a few to misuse the privilege.

If you really want to get the trail closed keep this up and we can all ride the plowed roads. If you ever see someone not using their heads, please take out your camera and snap a picture. If we get clear pictures of the tags and turn these few disrespectful people into the authorities, maybe we can put an end to this type of post!

Temporary Reroute:
Please be aware that the S49 trail that crossed Rt 14 between Wagemaker Rd and Champlin Rd, has liquid manure spread on the entire fields including the trail. We have marked up the NYSAA map highlighting this. Going east, when exiting the woods go south to Champlin Rd, cross Rt 14, go south to Wagemaker and follow Wagemaker to the trail. Going west, follow Wagemaker to Rt 14. Go north toward Champlin Rd, Cross Rt 14 on north side of Champlin and follow edge to the end of field. Go north on the edge of the field to the trail. First screen shot shows NYSSA map with p**p filled fields in red. the second shows the reroute.
Please note the actual live NYSSA map shows the trail and reroute green.
