2026 Fabian Earth Moving Vermont 200 is in the books!
We worked all day Sunday to get the car ready for the longest sportsman race you can run!
Special thanks to Shawn Byrne for hosting a chapel service at 10:00AM yesterday in the tech shed. That was how we started our day!
I made a mistake in time trials on both laps unfortunately, but we were still able to qualify through the heat with a 3rd place finish.
We packed our stuff for the infield and made an adjustment and started 15th. I drove off the track early, causing a yellow. We pitted for another adustment and the car was much improved.
We did go down a lap, though. The crew had me stay out for the break to try to advance positions and become the first car one lap down. We were lined up 4th on the restart and passed the 78 and 83 for a moment, then on another restart we lost a few spots.
On lap 134, we broke something in the driveline, likely the rear end. That's where our day ended, sadly. But, we had a fun weekend and overall another good 200.
This race takes a lot of help. Big thanks to Mom and Dad as always. Emma and her whole family, Tom, Todd, Royal, Justin and Kyle.
Billy Lussier loaned us a heacy duty generator and Justin Comes welded up a crack Royal found in the frame Sunday morning and loaned us his tire machine for the weekend while ours is down for repair. Without JTC, we couldn't have raced at all yesterday, so huge thanks to him.
We couldn't do all this without our amazing partners - Reed Door Solutions , West St Grille , DownValley Bikes and Apparel , Howards Garage & Sales, Inc. , Elmo's Pit Stop , CleanEngine , Honda of Rutland .
We will swap rear ends this week and be ready for championship night! Keep your eyes peeled for our Vermont 200 vlog coming out this week (hopefully)! We are excited to share some new racing content with y'all.
Thanks to all the race fans who came out and to Fabian Earth Moving for sponsoring the weekend. Until 2027!
