⚾️ ONE OF OUR OWN ON THE BIG SCREEN! ⚾️

How awesome is this!?!

One of our New Philadelphia Youth Baseball players, Johnny Levengood, got the chance to do something most kids only dream about, appearing on the Cleveland Guardians Jumbotron and yelling “PLAY BALL!” to help kick off the game!

Johnny plays on Coach Fouts’ 6U team, and his sister Ruth is also part of our New Philadelphia Youth Baseball family.

Way to represent, Johnny! ⚾️

For those of you who know me, you know how much I love this community and how much youth sports mean to me.

For the past several years, I’ve been blessed to be part of Baseball Now and Forever and to work alongside an incredible group of people who believe our kids deserve first-class facilities right here in New Philadelphia. We’ve already accomplished so much, but we’re now down to the final stretch.

We’re incredibly close to making infield turf at Jim Watson Field at Tom Farbizo Stadium a reality. This isn’t just about baseball, it’s about creating a field our community can be proud of for generations. It means fewer rainouts, more opportunities to host tournaments, more visitors supporting our local businesses, and giving our kids a place that matches the pride they have in wearing “New Philadelphia” across their chest.

Our deadline is September 1 to secure the remaining funding and get on the install schedule for the 2027 season. We’re so close, but we need one more push from the community.

If you’re able to help—whether it’s sponsoring a brick, purchasing a piece of turf, buying a license plate, or making a donation—every contribution truly makes a difference. And if you can’t give financially, sharing our campaign with your friends and family is just as appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported this project. Your generosity has gotten us to this point, and I’m hopeful we can finish this together.

Let’s bring this one home. 🔴 ⚫️ ⚾

Congratulations to our Meat Raffle Winners!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the meat raffle was a tremendous success!

🥩 We raised just shy of $2,000 for the Tom Farbizo Stadium turf project, and the New Philadelphia Youth baseball league netted $5,000, which will be reinvested into upgrading the backstop fence at the Pony league field.

If you’re one of our lucky winners, please contact this page to arrange pickup of your prize.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased tickets and helped make this event such a success. Your support continues to improve the experience for our players and families.

A very special thank you to Beitzel's Farm and Meat Processing Inc for their generous partnership and support of our community.

Every ticket purchased helps us continue investing in better facilities for today’s athletes and future generations.

Thank you for believing in our vision and helping us build something special!

An Academic All-Ohioan, an aspiring surgeon, a devoted big brother, and a standout athlete, Cohen has represented New Philadelphia with excellence in everything he does.

Your dedication, leadership, and work ethic have left a lasting mark on Quaker athletics. We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!

Congratulations, Cohen, and best of luck in all that’s ahead! 🔴⚫️

Congratulations to Cohen Winters, our 2026 School-Based Big Brother of the Year! 🎉

Cohen's journey is a powerful example of the full-circle impact of mentorship. After spending nearly a decade in our program as a Little Brother, he chose to give back by becoming a mentor himself—using his own experiences to support and encourage a younger student facing challenges of his own.

Despite balancing academics, athletics, and the demands of high school life, Cohen remained a consistent and dependable presence for his Little Brother. From helping build confidence and navigate difficult situations to continuing their match through multiple school and family transitions, Cohen demonstrated extraordinary compassion, maturity, and commitment.

His willingness to keep showing up, even when it required adjusting his own schedule, speaks volumes about the kind of leader and role model he has become. Cohen understands firsthand the difference a mentor can make, and he has worked tirelessly to provide that same support and stability to another child.

As a new graduate, we celebrate not only his accomplishments as a mentor but the incredible example he sets for others. Thank you, Cohen, for proving that the impact of mentorship doesn't end with one generation—it continues when those who are supported choose to support others. 💚

🚧 More fencing is going up! 🚧

Every week, Jim Watson field at Tom Farbizo stadium continues to take another step forward.

Our next major milestone is installing artificial turf in 2027 and the end of August is our hard deadline to secure the funding needed to schedule the installation.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of local businesses, organizations, and members of our community, we’re within realistic reach of making this happen!

If you’ve been considering supporting this project, now is the time. We humbly ask you to consider partnering with us as we make this final push toward bringing turf.

Check out the flyer to see the many ways you can get involved. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a lasting difference.

The lights are back up at Jim Watson field in Tom Farbizo’s stadium! 💡

After being temporarily removed during construction, our stadium lights have officially been re-installed and are once again standing tall over Quaker Baseball. Every improvement brings us one step closer to completing our vision for one of the premier high school baseball facilities in Ohio.

We’re honoring our past while building for the future.
