Our hearts are heavy for our community and beyond. ❤️

The flooding that has impacted New Castle and so many of our surrounding communities has been devastating. We know there are families, individuals, businesses and entire neighborhoods dealing with loss, damage and uncertainty as they figure out what comes next.

While it’s difficult to see so much destruction in a place we call home, it has also been incredible to see our communities come together. Neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses opening their doors, organizations providing supplies and people simply asking, “What can I do to help?” That kind of support means a lot, especially when so many are facing an incredibly difficult situation.

We also know social media can be unpredictable, and not every post makes it into every person’s feed. Someone who needs important information may never even see it.

That’s why we’ve started compiling information for New Castle, Henry County, Connersville, Cambridge City and surrounding communities. We’ll continue adding resources as we find them and will do our best to keep this information updated.

Our hope is simple: that this information helps someone find a place to turn, a resource they didn’t know existed, or a little bit of help during an incredibly difficult time.

EVENT RECAP + PHOTOS! 2026 New Castle Broad Street Cruise-In x PB Bike Giveaway Event

Some of the best memories aren't made on perfect days. Sometimes they’re made in the middle of a downpour!

The rain changed the plans. It never changed the purpose. In true PB fashion, we rolled on because getting quality, safe, and fun bikes into the hands of kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity was always bigger than the forecast.

Thanks to the incredible Arts Park Pavilion, hundreds of kids and families packed in for another unforgettable night…and before the night was over, a ton of kids rolled away on long lasting bikes they could call their own. Bikes that fit properly. Bikes that last. Bikes that build confidence. Bikes that encourage kids to get outside, stay active, and create memories that they'll carry with them for years.

We know firsthand that a bike can become so much more than two wheels. It can be freedom. It can be an escape. It can build confidence. It can create lifelong friendships, unforgettable adventures, and opportunities that might never have existed otherwise.

That's why this project means so much to us.

This FREE event was proudly made possible by a community-wide effort, with funding from the New Castle Broad Street Cruise-In, Poynter Brothers Pro Shop, generous businesses/organizations (listed below), and many caring individual members throughout our community.

Every bike winner also received a quality, CPSC-certified bicycle helmet, thanks to the generous support of the New Castle Breakfast Optimist Club, along with a bike lock courtesy of Dorn Restorations.

From everyone at PB Pro Shop and the New Castle Broad Street Cruise-In crew: Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping us shape a stronger, more active, and more connected generation.
