Announcement to all followers and anyone who has been at The Grind since opening in March of 2019:
Now that we have notified any existing clients and members of our gym, we would like to announce to the public that The Grind has decided to close its doors permanently. Some may already know this news as Chris, The Grind’s owner, made a big announcement about this on his personal page last week, explaining his next steps in life. In these past few weeks, we also began the process of finishing out client sessions and removing equipment/personal items from the building to make this situation even more real.
After over 4 years comprised of long days filled with mostly laughter and happiness, the bittersweet decision came along where you, as a business owner, are the only one to decide whether your dream and vision is worth continuing. The decision to close was made after long deliberation over a few months’ time (and honestly lots of feelings of frustration and sadness), so we do not take this lightly. It is a huge life change, as The Grind became a home for us, our dogs, our friends, and even strangers who we came to know and whose company we loved while we had it.
We want to thank every single person who made the dream of The Grind possible. We’ll always remember the great times we had and hard work that we put in! Each of us, Chris and Gabi, is still working locally and involved in our community. So we are not going anywhere in that sense, but certain things just have their time. As the saying goes, “All good things come to an end…” But a new chapter will always start afterward as well. 😊
This will likely be the last post, or at least one of the last posts, we will ever share on to this page. If you have any fond memories of The Grind, or remember a good experience you had with us or anyone you came across within the gym, please feel free to leave a comment or memory below! Thank you all again for everything you have done to make this possible. We will never forget how awesome The Grind really was. We appreciate this period of our lives.
Take care of yourselves!
Chris and Gabi
