An update one month into the FFU'26 season:
After a few twists & turns out the gate, the season is off to a roaring start. Already have 275 attempts by 13 riders. The past 2 season we haven't broken 400 attempts, & we still have almost 3 months left to go.
Three of the riders on the FFU'26 leaderboard are reigning RFTR'25 Champs.
Jahfari (RFTR'25 Mens Champ) is battling with Bill (FFU'25 Champ) & Jesse (FFU'25 2nd) in the top 3 spots.
Zayne (RFTR'25 Womens Champ) hit a couple segments in Truckee & hopefully will be back for some more FFU'26 segs.
Cody (RFTR'25 Groms Champ) is just getting started on some of these segments & is already in 4th.
We're expecting some more FAF riders to be popping up on the leaderboard in the near future. Riders from outta the area could be swinging thru on their way to or from NWEF, RFTR, & Best of the West Championship competitions in the coming months.
Theres also a few local riders, like Nico (FFU'24&'25 3rd) & Wade (FFU'24 Champ), not on the leaderboard yet, but expected to compete.👀
🎥This season, I'm super stoked to announce that the top 3 riders win being featured in a The Float Life "Follow Me" YouTube video on some FFU'26 segments we're racing on this season! Thanx to Nico & Jeff McCosker at TFL for agreeing to make this happen for us.🎬
Winners will also be getting a FFU'26 Champ flag, like our past 2 seasons winners.🏁

📏This season, we're running a few parallel seasons to the Official Underground FFU'26 season, mainly for different scoring options info & to be able to award different banners & badges to more riders. Those seasons are just for fun/data, & the FFU'26 season with the crown 👑 is the one that matters. Also this season we're going to try out using class categories to filter/separate the Intermediates & Legends (50yo & older) from the Pro/Expert riders at the top of the leaderboard. Clydesdales (+215lbs) & Womens can already be filtered on the leaderboard if rider's info is set in their profile settings. More info on this to come.🪜
📱Rumor is that a major update is coming shortly to the Ride Hermes app & should make things much better & easier, with more info available to riders.🤳
🔒Barring any unforseen major issues, the season is now locked down & will have no more edits moving forward. 🔑
