We believe that every breakthrough needs a safe place to explore. Whether it is a student discovering a passion in a 7th-grade science classroom, a researcher developing life-saving technology in a corporate lab, or an industrial team managing a high-stakes environment,

True safety isnโt just a corporate mandate, it is a lifelong foundation. The habits that protect professionals in high-stakes industries tomorrow are born in the academic classrooms of today. When we empower a student to respect a hazard in school, we are actively shaping the safety culture of our future workforce. No matter what industry you are in, the principle remains identical, and it all starts on day one of science education.
This ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต, we are reflecting on the incredible honor it has been to partner with individuals across so many diverse industries worldwide. It is a true pleasure to work alongside the educators who are actively shaping the future of safety, while simultaneously collaborating with industry leaders to make critical, impactful changes right now. Though our day-to-day environments look different, we are all working toward the exact same goal. Protecting these teams is a shared responsibility, one that flourishes when you feel supported, respected, and safe enough to perform at your best.
For nearly 50 years, the Laboratory Safety Institute (LSI) has dedicated itself to helping institutions build these exact capabilities. By equipping educators, researchers, safety professionals, and organizational leaders alike, we work together to create safer, more resilient environments for science. We take immense pride in leading this work forward, continually advancing the truth that safer science and a stronger organizational culture are deeply interconnected.
Thank you to everyone that has trusted us to be a part of your safety journey for decades.
