One of the easiest ways to make nutrition harder than it needs to be is believing every healthy meal has to involve cooking.
Here's a breakfast you can put together in about two minutes:
1½ cups nonfat Greek yogurt
½–1 scoop whey protein
1 cup berries
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Depending on the brands and amounts you use, you're looking at roughly 40–50 grams of protein, plus fiber from the berries and chia.
Want more calories?
Add oats, granola or some nuts.
Need fewer?
Adjust the portions.
That's how I prefer to think about meals.
Start with a solid protein source. Add fruit or vegetables. Then adjust the carbohydrates and fats to fit what you actually need.
Good nutrition doesn't have to be complicated to be effective.
