end of the semester always makes me EMO
it has been another incredible year teaching .fitness at Lipscomb, and it’s always a bittersweet time when that comes to an end
I am so grateful for all the people who have been courageous enough to try out something new and invest in themselves!
one thing I have learned throughout this journey is that change is uncomfortable, but we don’t grow in our comfort zone
4 and a half years ago I was nervous to start teaching .fitness classes in a place that had no idea what it was, or who I was. I will forever be grateful for the people of McKenzie/ Gleason/ Martin, TN for giving me a chance and making this journey possible.
In May of 2021 when I moved away from the community I had built there, I was SO sad to leave my people, and couldn’t imagine teaching High without seeing them in every class.
I moved to Nashville where I didn’t know a single person, and started teaching classes at Lipscomb, because I thought “why not?”
well fast forward to today, I can’t imagine living my life without the people in it that I have met through teaching at Lipscomb
going to miss the ones that are moving away, but I know they are on to bigger & better things!
enjoy your summer & we will be ready to roll in August😎
