Don’t skip strength training during the season! 💪⠀

Research shows that adding smart, in-season strength work (just 1-3 short sessions/week) delivers HUGE benefits for youth athletes (ages 8-18):⠀

• Builds & maintains strength/power — Studies on youth soccer players show 20-30% gains in bench/leg press and 10%+ in jumps/sprints even during competition.⠀

• Drops injury risk dramatically — One trial cut non-contact injuries by ~82% (from 2.62 to 0.48 per 1,000 hours). Another saw ZERO injuries over 8 weeks with targeted 20-min sessions 3x/week. Overall, resistance training can reduce sports injuries by up to 68%!⠀
