“I Hate Blues” is here! Join us for this interactive and in-depth workshop series, made to create dancer-musicians! 🎶🎸
👉 Have you wanted to be more musical in your dancing? Do you wonder how dancers seem to magically know what is happening in the music? Do you hate when songs come on you don’t understand or feel you can’t dance to?
🤓 All attendees will start with the Music Theory Module on Saturday morning, followed by two targeted modules on highlighting Blues and Jazz. This series will be taught by Laynee Day, an educational professional with a degree in music education and performance, and 30 years of training in dance!
💙 Students may attend just the music theory module, or all 3, but the Music Theory session is required. Dancers are encouraged to bring a notebook and their dancing shoes!
