1. Los Angeles Rams

The top team of my power rankings belongs to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have added some much fire power to their team since that devastating loss to Seattle last year they are looking to make some noise and return the Super Bowl which happens to be in their home stadium and on top of that it’s where they last won the last Super Bowl they were in. Adding Myles Garrett to the defense and possibly, although rumors, Aaron Donald coming out of retirement is a defense full of nightmares.

2. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have one of the most complete roster in all of the NFL. An injury away from making the Super Bowl last year look for this team to return to the playoffs and even the Super Bowl this year. Sean Payton and Bo Nix are a great head coach/star QB duo and adding WR Jaylen Waddle makes it even better. Finishing 14-3 last year with most of the contributors on both sides of the ball returning make this team dangerous. Could the Broncos be Super Bowl champs when all said and done?

3. Seattle Seahawks

Reigning Super Bowl champions look to be a contender again this year. Kenneth Walker III left in free agency, Zach Charbonnet still recovering from a torn ACL but the Seahawks drafted former Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price in the first round of the draft to help ease off the pressure. The offensive line is still the same and that suffocating defense remains the same minus so pieces missing and star defender Nick Emmanwori still on the PUP list awaiting his removal before Week 1 look for Mike Macdonalds Seahawks to be NFC contenders once again.

4. Buffalo Bills

New Head Coach, new Defensive Coordinator, new stadium and DJ Moore stepping into a new team as WR1 is a scary thing to see as a Bills fan but they will be a top contender for the AFC title let alone a Super Bowl champion. The defense has some issues but look past those and see Josh Allen and James Cook leading this Bills team again.

5. Baltimore Ravens

A team with a coaching change this high in the rankings seems crazy but hear me out. Lamar Jackson is a great QB, he’s got a great WRs and rookie WR Ja’Kobi Lane is turning heads in training camp. The offensive line has some questions as Tyler Linderbaum’s replacement is currently battling recovery from a torn Achilles and hasn’t won the job yet, but you have veteran John Simpson and bulldozing rookie Vega Ioane of those three can jell that offensive line can make the offense very hard to stop. The issue is the defense, if first time head coach Jesse Minter can get the group to get back to how it once was the Ravens will rebound from a losing season to a playoff contender.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars

Liam Coen led a team to a great season in his first year and the offense was explosive. Trevor Lawrence is starting to look like the star QB the team has needed and with the way he looked and had the team perform last year the Jags made very little changes to the team. Travis Etienne is the only departure that could slow down the progression but Bhayshul Tuten in his second year is showing a lot of hype that he could fill those shoes perfectly fine. This very well could be a dark horse team to go deep into the playoffs.

7. Philadelphia Eagles

Things are looking up in Philadelphia. After a struggling end to the 2025 season the Eagles have a much different vibe for this 2026 season. There is a new offensive coordinator who is making accountability emphasized. Both sides of the ball has seen improvements this offseason. The WR room has some kinks to work out but after the loss of AJ Brown the drama has subsided. With a talented offense to pair with a very strong defense this team is definitely a contender for the NFC East and possibly more.

8. Cincinnati Bengals

All signs point to a great season in Cincinnati. Joe Burrow is healthy, the WR are elite and the defense which was struggling last year is improving. The AFC North will be Cincinnatis as long as Joe Burrow can stay healthy and if they can show the improvements and elite players they have they will be a Super Bowl contender just like in 2022 when they were last in the Super Bowl losing to the Rams

9. Houston Texans

This defense is scary and could definitely lead them to another playoff run. The offense on the other hand needs to step up otherwise they won’t advance past the Divisional round. CJ Stroud has weapons to use but not having Tank Dell as much as he’d like does hurt. Getting David Montgomery in the free agency is a huge improvement for the run game and gaining a ton of help for the offensive line is a positive as well. If everyone plays to their full potential look out for this Texans team to make a run in the playoffs.

10. Detroit Lions

Jahmyr Gibbs signed a new contract extension which is huge for this Lions team plus Jared Goff has an elite WR room that will help get this team moving. The defense is a mess with injuries and turnovers from the offseason. Dan Campbell should have this team looking good once the regular season begins.
