For Teen Wahine surf camp on Thursday we took advantage of the weather with a field trip to the WAVE RIDING VEHICLES-KH Surfboard Factory, where Leo Ravina shared the history of surfboard shaping, the evolution of board design, and the art and science behind every board. From different types of foam to the glassing process, our campers got a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the boards they ride.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity and for sharing this experience with the next generation of surfers. 🤙💙
