Fishing has been improving lately despite the crazy amounts of rain and thunderstorms. We’ve had some great days with over slot Reds Sharks Blues and even a few Trout. Hopefully the sound water will clear up next week and fishing will continue to improve. Plenty of open dates so give me a call!

The topwater bite has really picked up the last few days with some great action! We’ve also started seeing a few reds on the flats so hopefully that will continue to improve. Northeast wind for the next few days should cool things off and the fish responded well this morning!

Happy 4th of July! Fishing has picked up a bit this week with more action and variety. We tried for Trout on the first and came up with a couple but there’s still not many around. Still some good chopper Bluefish action and more Reds in the mix. Happy 250 to the good old U.S.A.!! 🇺🇸

Slower fishing this week with plenty of big Blues but not as many reds as last week. Witnessed a massive Horseshoe Crab spawning aggregate yesterday with hundreds mating in clear shallow water.

Released a beautiful 26” Trout this morning. Glad to see a few of these breeders on the flats!

Scrappy fishing lately but the south wind and warmer temps helped today. We stayed in the sound but heard of some Cobia finally starting to show around the inlet late in the day. Looks like a big warm up over the next week so things should just get better from here!
