Coach Enrique De Los Rios Baseball and Coach Eric Ruben of the National Pitching Association, heading up our Carolina Collegiate BlueClaws academy pitching staff this fall.

The fall season is officially underway, and today we got outside at a beautiful facility with a really good group of athletes.

Just from the aesthetics alone, this pitching staff looks impressive. Now I can’t wait to see these arms actually get on the mound, throw, compete, and show what they can do.

Great coaching, a talented group of athletes, and a lot of development ahead.

This is why so many of our young players continue to develop and elevate.

A couple of our younger players finished a two-hour practice at Ripken, then saw our 13U and 14U boys still working. With the coaches giving them the opportunity, they jumped right back on the field and got more work in with the older guys.

That’s what it’s about.

We’re fortunate to practice at a facility with nine fields, with teams working throughout the afternoon and evening. When one team finishes, another may just be getting started. If the coaches approve it, our players have opportunities to jump in, get extra reps, learn from older athletes, and keep working.

We talk about setting a standard and developing work habits behind the scenes. This is exactly what that looks like.

Extra reps. Extra work. No shortcuts. Set the standard. Trust the process.

Coach Sean Lysowski & his coaching staff coaching up this talented group of young athletes! ⚾️🔥

A former high school varsity coach and someone who is well respected throughout the baseball community, Coach Sean brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience, and leadership to the field.

It’s a pleasure having such a great coach working with our young athletes. This group is being coached the right way, developing every practice, and preparing for what should be an exciting season.

The work has been put in. Now it’s time to play some ball.

Their season officially begins this weekend, and we’re excited to watch these guys hit the field and compete! 💪⚾️

Some of our 12U National guys had a weekend off… and decided to make it a weekend on. 💪⚾️

They got some extra work in and hit the field at Shipyard Park — and not only did they finish the weekend as CHAMPIONS 🏆, but these boys looked CLEAN doing it.

From pitching to catching, middle infield, footwork, defense — everything looked crisp. Everything looked sharp. You can see the development and the work these players continue to put in.

Love watching these young athletes compete, develop and continue to elevate their game.

No days off when you love the game. 🔥⚾️

This hits hard. Many people don’t know but for an entire year Banks Alexander, Connor Pellerin COFC commit, Eli Chowning COFC Commit, and Chone James Mississippi State University current player hit every morning at 6am at our indoor facility with our owner Willie James.

What’s your level of commitment. You need the blueprint just check those who set it and maybe this can be you.

Our program is so excited for Banks and his hard work we knew he was putting out in the dark.

This kid is a gamer just as Connor, Eli and Chone are. We are leaving the Strand better than we found it.

Chants up, Lo you got a stud in Banks you’ll love this kid!!!

Some of our Rays boys out at the Cosmic Chili Peppers Cosmic Game! 🌶️⚾️🌌

What makes nights like this even more special is the connection behind it all.

Some people may not know that guys like Austin Schultz trained alongside some of our players, worked with some of our coaches, and even brainstormed what would become his most viral video with some of our guys and players.

Now, to watch Austin go on to become one of the most recognizable and popular personalities in baseball is incredible.

Then you have guys like Tucker Perry — another familiar face who was coached by us, later became one of our coaches, and helped coach some of these same young athletes.

To see these guys doing amazing things for the game of baseball, entertaining crowds, putting smiles on kids’ faces, and keeping the next generation excited and engaged with the game is something special.

Baseball is bigger than wins and losses. It’s about relationships, memories, inspiration, and keeping these young athletes in love with the game.

Coach Danny and his coaching staff have these 8U boys looking REAL good!

The boys played their first 9U scrimmage the other day, and it was impressive to see how well they competed playing up.

What makes it even more exciting is that most of these young athletes can still play 8U for another year after the spring!!! The future is bright for this young group

IT MUST BE IN THE GENES!

Five-year-old Dominic Gore is already showing off some serious ability on the baseball field.

And when I say genes, I mean it. Dominic comes from a baseball family. His older brothers, 12 and 18, have both come through our program from a young age. One is now playing college baseball, while the other competes at a high national level.

Now, it looks like the baseball tradition didn’t stop with them.

The hard work, coaching, confidence, and love for the game that have been instilled in Dominic are already starting to show.

I once heard a Major League Baseball player say that hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports. Now imagine doing it at FIVE YEARS OLD.

And understand—this isn’t coach pitch with someone trying to put the ball right on his bat.

This is KID PITCH.

Dominic is five years old, playing up and stepping into the box against a pitcher FOUR YEARS OLDER than him—and delivering an RBI.

That’s special.

Does it mean he’ll be a big leaguer one day? Nobody can predict that.

But at five years old, it sure is one heck of a start.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep having fun.

Keep going, Dominic! ⚾🔥
