🧠 In conflict, we don’t always see the real problem—we see the reaction.

Someone snaps. Blames. Shuts down.
Our instinct is to protect ourselves, argue back, or shut them out.

But empathy lets us look deeper:
“Why might they be acting this way?”
“What need might be going unmet?”

It doesn’t mean you agree. It means you pause long enough to lead with understanding instead of ego. And that choice? It changes everything.
