Setting GOALS for weight loss sets you up for Success! Here's a few tips to get you started:
1) BE HONEST- to prevent further weight gain review your current diet & Eliminate unhealthy foods.
2) BE REALiSTiC -set small achievable goals {losing 15 pounds in a week is not a realistic goal} cross them out when completed & set more goals, this helps to keep you motivated!
3) BE SPECiFiC- a goal to work out more is not specific BUT a goal to run for 30 mins 4days a week after work is specific!
4) TRACK YOUR PROGRESS- goals are best achieved if you track your progress. Keep a food log and track you workouts daily -this keeps you accountable and motivated!!
5) GET SUPPORT- support is important! Having an accountability partner is a benefit (Personal Trainer, spouse, BFF or sibling) someone that will encourage you, push you, run with you, be honest with you & tell you to put down the donut.
