We build quality dancers through teaching classical ballet from children to adults and professionals. Proper technique is important in the growth of any dancer.

We Build Quality Dancers

We stress the anatomical development of a young dancer learning self-esteem through self-discipline. With our adaptation of the Russian Method of ballet, we have gained an extended appreciation of the role physics plays in proper balance of the body. This understanding, imparted to our students from their earliest experiences here enables them to exquisitely perform the d

ramatic jumps, turns and rapid changes required. All classes are accompanied by a pianist, this enables the teacher to give their full and uninterrupted attention to teaching rather than fumbling with recorded music. The Ballet Centre has its own theatre and scenery and provides costumes for all performances at no cost to the parents. We administer with the upmost care and compassion. Our teachers are well trained in the art of classical ballet and follow a specific syllabus throughout the year.

Registration is now open for our Performance Intensive 2026! Looking to improve your dancing
and gain more performance experience? Then sign up for our 5 - week Performance Intensive! Offering 4 different class levels with daily technique classes, variations coaching, special topic classes and 2 performance opportunities.

Running from June 15th - July 17th.
- Basic level (ages 7 - 9)
- Intermediate level (ages 10+)
- Advanced level (ages 13+)
- Adult classes (monday nights- all levels welcome)

Special Topic Classes include: Contemporary, Jazz, Character, and Swing. Taught by our
amazing guest faculty, these classes are available to anyone ages 10+ looking to expand their
knowledge and movement style. These classes are included in the Advanced level tuition, and
are available for individual sign up for participating students as well as outside community members. There are 2 classes offered per topic.

Master Class Guest Faculty: Sasha Lunev is a graduate of the world renowned Vaganova
Academy of Russian Ballet in Leningrad, USSR. He held a position of principal dancer with the
world renown Kirov/Mariinsky Theatre, the Boston Ballet and the Tulsa Ballet where he also
served as an Artistic Adviser. Sasha’s world tours included France, Italy, Great Britain, Germany,
USA, Canada, Austria, Switzerland, and Japan. Sasha has also toured throughout the world as
a guest artist and ballet teacher.

Special Topic: Swing Dance
Lusiano Pasillas: Since the age of 13, dance has always been a part of Lusiano’s life. He has been teaching dance for over 20 years, and has had many opportunities to teach over seas. With a variety of experience from Ballroom, Salsa, Bachata, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, and
Jazz. Lusiano has excelled in dance landing him many lead rolls, and winning first place in competitions. Lusiano has had the privilege to receive world-class training from professionals
such as Rufus, Isabella, German Mustuck, Freddie Moore, Randall Flinn and Michelle Armstrong.

Classes held on June 24th & 25th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Special Topic: Contemporary
Coltin Snyder grew up in Tooele, UT and began his dance training at age seven. He graduated
summa cm laude from the University of Arizona with a B.F.A. in dance and a B.S.B.A. in
accounting in 2021. Coltin is a former inaugural member of Vitacca Ballet. In August of 2025,
Coltin debuted as a company member with Bruce Wood Dance Dallas. In his short time with the
company, he has performed works by notable choreographers such as Robert Battle, Lar Lubovitch, Bruce Wood, and Jessica Lang to name a few. He has also premiered his own choreography on the members of Bruce Wood Dance Dallas. In addition to his professional
performing career, Coltin has guested with Dallas Repertoire Ballet in Allen, TX, Kingwood Ballet in Kingwood, TX, Chula Vista Ballet in San Diego, CA, and Ballet Centre Utah, Inc. in Murray, UT, as well as served as a company manager and rehearsal director. He continues to teach and choreograph at schools and studios across the U.S.

Classes held on July 9th & 10th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Special Topic: Jazz
Katelynn Killian is a Utah native. She is a Westminster Alumni receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, awarded Outstanding Graduating Senior in 2020 and Outstanding Alumni Volunteer in 2023. Killian is an active freelance performance artist; performing, choreographing, and teaching with Dance, Theater, Opera, and School/Studio companies. Most recently setting work with The Waterford School, SNOW College and Tanner Dance. She has been the Arts for All program Manager in Eccles Theater since 2021 and is currently dancing with Salt Lake City Ballet Co-Op, teaching with The Waterford School, teaching Pilates at BodyBar, and is a board member for Deseret Experimental Opera.

Classes held on June 17th & 18th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Special Topic: Character Dance
Elizabeth Armstrong specializes in character dance and ballet. She grew up dancing at Ballet
Center Utah, Inc. performing lead roles in various productions, while also choreographing and
staging the upper level character dances. Elizabeth traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia in 2016 where she performed as well as studied ballet, character dance, and historical dance with many outstanding Russian ballet masters, under the direction of Oleg Vinogradov. She is extremely passionate about sharing her research and knowledge of each regional dance including history, geography, music, clothing, style, and more.

Classes held on July 7th & 8th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
