Boro Pickleball and Leadoff Baseball Academy are family owned and locally run right here in Murfreesboro. This summer, we made it through without air conditioning in the building — and we’re so grateful for your patience. Now we’re ready to invest in real building enhancements so every guest has a better experience.

To help make that happen, we’re launching a sponsorship program and inviting local businesses and friends of Boro Pickleball & LBA to grow alongside us. Sponsors/patrons get real visibility with our community: 4,000+ annual visitors, 4,000+ social followers, and an email list of 6,000+. Attached you will find all the details, but here is a snapshot.

Four levels, to fit different budgets:

MVP Sponsor — $5,000 Annually
All-Star Sponsor — $2,500 Annually
Starting Lineup Sponsor — $1,250 Annually
Digital Sponsor — $750 Annually
Every level includes a TV ad and a social media shoutout, with higher tiers adding banner place.

Introducing the new Fall Series-Last Saturday Ladder Play! No partner necessary and each game is a different pairing. Come out on 9/26, 10/31, 11/18 & 12/26. This event is in Scorholio but sign up is on the Boro PB website and app.

BORO PICKLEBALL MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: JOEY ZACCARELLI

At Boro, it’s about so much more than pickleball. It’s about the people you meet, the friendships you build, and the community that keeps you coming back. Joey Zaccarelli is a perfect example of what makes the Boro crew so special. What started with a few games of singles has turned into a love for doubles, DUPR nights, and most importantly, the friendships and community he’s found at Boro.

Q: How did you get started playing pickleball?
Joey: A friend had talked about pickleball over the years, and I always wanted to try it. My coworker Tony and I started playing singles 2–3 days a week in February 2025. Not long after, Tony introduced me to Boro, and I’ve been playing doubles ever since!

Q: What brought you to Boro Pickleball, and what keeps you coming back?
Joey: The DUPR nights initially pulled me into the pickleball community. The people and friendships are what keep me coming back. Everyone is always incredibly supportive and loving to me and my family.

Q: What’s your favorite shot?
Joey: A good lob that barely hits the back line! Most of my lobs are out of bounds, though. 😂

Q: What shot gives you the most trouble?
Joey: The shot that humbles me—when I try to backspin it and send it straight into the net!

Q: How would you describe pickleball?
Joey: A mixture of ping pong and tennis. Let’s go play!
