Harmony Movement Studio Our goal is to spread the joy of movement and dancing throughout the East Central Indiana region. Don't be shy, guests of all skill levels are welcome!

Our mission is introducing the joy of dancing to East Central Indiana. Led by our owner, David Fennig, the staff is comprised of experienced professionals and amateur enthusiasts who teach dance lessons in group and private settings at Harmony's brand new studio location in Downtown Muncie! We offer a wide range of styles to suit your individual needs through classes that are scheduled monthly. We

believe that dance should be affordable and accessible – dancing belongs to everyone, from kids and teenagers to retirees. Whether you are single and wanting to learn to dance, or a couple looking for a date night, join us in our studio or at a club and see why we are having so much fun! I am late to posting this, but come join us for classes in June. And we are back to having a weekly class in Portland where we will be doing salsa in a style known as Rueda de Casino, where the partners change based of what the instructor calls.

It's a fun, collaborative and playful dance and you don't need any expereince or a partner to come join in!

Those will be starting June 21st and running through July on Sunday evenings from 6-8 and like all our classes they are drop-in for 15 per person or 10 for hs and college students.

Here's our monthly Calendar for May. We are adding in a few new styles and switching some things up, so this month is a great month to jump into classes if you have been thinking about it! Classes are just 15 per person or 10 for high school and college students and run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8.

Check out Back Home Again in Indiana for one of the coolest swing events in Indiana, happening at the end of the month. We can't wait to go there as a group and check it out!

This Saturday we have dancing all day!
Bachata Workshops from 3-5
Dinner and stretch break from 5-7
Zouk workshop at 7 and then Latin social dancing from 8-12.

Just fyi the plan tonight is to dance the way we normally do from 6-8 but all to Irish music. So if you’ve ever wanted to learn a jig, a Celtic waltz or a polka tonight is your chance.

We are (as always) a little late getting this calendar published and out here but here is what March looks like at Harmony. We have one new kind of workshop added in here.

On March 14th we will be offering a class in groundwork and stretching, ideal for anyone who wants to introduce more movement into their life, more flexibility in their legs and hips and more strength through their upper body.

Also as always our First Friday evening dance is Donation based, so if this month is a hard one for you don't worry about paying any cover...just come dancing.

Other than that all our evening classes and the Saturday workshops are 15 per person, 10 for high school and college students and the details for the event on Saturday the 28th are yet to finalize.

Here is our calendar for February. We are changing up a few of the styles so come check out classes tonight if you want to learn some waltz cause this is the last week it'll be in the rotation for a few months.
I also want to highlight that we have three different social events in February. The first is Friday night at our Location in Muncie, the second is a Sunday evening in Portland and the third is on a Saturday afternoon in Muncie. There are so many great opportunities to dance around the area!

We love hosting Friday night dances again! The next one is Friday Feb 6th. Make it a date night for an early Valentines day treat or come alone and have fun with friends.

We will be doing an all-levels swing lesson with David Fennig at 7:00 and then dancing a mix of styles from 8-11 along with food from Harmony Cafe and Catering

No Experience or partner needed
Donations accepted but not required.
