Happy Birthday Chesapeake! That’s how it began in 1982 when Chesapeake Mayor Marion Whitehurst suggested that this relatively young city celebrate its 20th anniversary with a birthday party.

And so the Chesapeake Jubilee was born. The first Chesapeake Jubilee was held at Greenbrier Mall in 1983. Now it is held at the beautiful Chesapeake City Park.

It’s the best deal in town. The cost for admission is $3 and the music and family entertainment acts are free. Children 3 and under are Free.

We will be celebrating 43 years of the Jubilee in 2026!

Thursday, May 14th | 6pm - 10pm - Carnival Only
Friday, May 15th | 5pm - 10pm
Saturday, May 16th | 10am - 10pm
Sunday, May 17th | Noon - 6pm

Fireworks at 9pm Saturday.

Outer Banks Dare , Currituck and Hyde county’s
We have stationary Duck blinds, float blinds, Curtain blinds. (Sink boxes) Carolina scissor rig, pontoon boats, Layout boats we have about everything. We provide great hunts puddle ducks and diver ducks
All of our guides are US CG boat captains to ensure you’re safe, we know where the ducks are and we go after them. Our prices are 250 per man call for bookings

This curtain blind was built in 1920 and we raised it from the dead 5‘ x 5‘ 4 foot tall 5 inches thick of concrete. over the years,)The top was all torn to pieces. Estimated weight was 5500 pounds. We pulled it up in 6 inches of water Made 2 pontoons with an A-frame to lift it 4 inches off the sand level and move 1000 yards to our area where do guided duck hunts.
