Last order getting sealed and ready for finishing. Color and figuring is starting to show. Base coat gets sprayed in the morning if temps allow.

Vacuum stabilized/dyed hard maple, carbon/black curly mango trims.

26" RH reverse limb mount ILF trad riser.

This model features the adjustable limb poundage/tiller option (vs the regular bolt-on, takedown style version which can be shimmed for tiller).

Last add-ons. Though a trad centershot, roughly 1/4" past center, so that when shooting off the shelf, it does not require building out the strike plate thicker than WA or IBO rules allow, also this design is specifically optimized for the stick on Hoyt Super Rest, which is WA legal for Trad.

There is enough centershot cutaway to lay a 9mm shaft down the middle of the riser and so a bolt-on rest and plunger can be used-this customer wanted that "option" knowing it is not a full barebow cutaway depth.

Bushing on the forward lower is for a wrist strap or weights. Customer will have all the options depending on what event she is shooting.

This has been a very fun competition riser build and it looks good too.

26" Competition Trad ILF riser, RH/Satin finish.

Vacuum stabilized Padauk. Curly black mango trims. Carbon weave/G10 structural lams.

Custom limb bolt bezels by no other than Anton at Ant Barebow.

No internal weighting for rule compliance where this bow may be used.

Full target deflex, 4.06 #, adjustable limb bolts, lateral limb alignment, forward radiused shelf, centershot cut for arrows laying dead center for optimal tuning options. Trad models designed for off the shelf or stick on rests compatible with WA regulations.

Gets polished brass hardware tomorrow then a few more days for the finish to fully cure.

Even back in 1972 they knew how to make a tournament bow with all the functional features. Gotta love it! Thank Rich Lop...

Sanded back the first spray coat which was filling some of the bigger pores. Trying to keep the small uniform grains in the final satin finish for this look.

Got a good base coat here. Mid coats later tonight. Getting nice deep color change which brightens up in direct light.

Roughed in trims on the padauk riser. Had some trouble bending thin mango on the shelf radius as it was stabilized-thus more brittle-but we got it done!

Carbon line under the mango for looks. Curly mango like this will change color nicely under finish. Should complement the padauk with black/orange g-10 structural stripes perfectly.

Now we wait for it to dry (again).
