These 6 RT Elite wrestlers fought hard all week in Tampa at the 14U National Duals, proudly representing Team Wisconsin. Their dedication, toughness, and hard work helped Team WI bring home a 4th-place finish in Greco and a 5th-place finish in Freestyle!

We are incredibly proud of the effort these boys put in both on and off the mat. Congratulations on an outstanding week of wrestling and representing RT Elite and Wisconsin so well! 🤼‍♂️

Please watch/Read! I have said all of this before! Children will always choose the easy way out most of the time! You have to be their back bone and make them do hard things if they want to be successful! Comfort is never an option if you want to be great.

Good luck to these six RT Elite boys as they represent Wisconsin this week at the 14U National Duals in Tampa as part of Team Wisconsin! 🇺🇸🤼‍♂️

They'll compete in Greco-Roman on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by Freestyle on Thursday and Friday.

This opportunity is a testament to the countless hours they've spent training, competing, traveling, and pushing themselves to get better every day. The hard work, dedication, and sacrifices have paid off, and we couldn't be more proud of them for earning the chance to compete on the national stage.

Wishing all of Team Wisconsin the best of luck this week—go make Wisconsin proud!

Introducing Wisconsin's 14U boys combined Freestyle & Greco National Duals Team!

📍Wesley Chapel, Florida
🗓️ Greco competes June 9-10
🗓️ Freestyle competes June 11-12

Leading the national team announcements is the youngest age group to represent Team Wisconsin at National Duals—14U.

This group of wrestlers will compete in both freestyle and Greco, mirroring the team selection which was determined by the highest placers at Freestyle and Greco state the first weekend in May.

The team has power in both styles. Fresh off state titles in both Freestyle and Greco are John Reimer, Adam Husk, Walter Caulum, Gunnar Helwig, Logan Crandall, Aiden D'Alie, Dale Montemurro, Henry Metzler, Sirr Muckerheide, Hawke Garrett, Malachi Johnson, and Isaiah Kaiser. The remaining athletes won titles in one style or the other — including 88 pounds, where Hank Droessler took Freestyle and Ian Weber took Greco, sending two champs to the national stage.

The following weekend at Northern Plains, Hawke Garrett swept both styles again — four titles across two weekends — while Adam Husk added a Northern Plains Freestyle crown to his state double. Multiple other team members podiumed at Northern Plains as well, a strong sign of what this group is bringing to Wesley Chapel.

The team will seek to improve on placements from last year—Greco finished 6th and Freestyle claimed 4th out in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Leading the charge are returners Aiden D'Alie and Hawke Garrett, who not only competed for Wisconsin at last year's National Duals but came back and swept both state titles this spring. Boone Dilley and Hank Droessler round out the returning contingent, bringing valuable national team experience back to the mat.

The team travelling to Wesley Chapel, Florida is led by Kids Director Tony Schaaf. Mark your calendars and get ready to support the first team to hit the mats at National Duals!
