Just a reminder: there will be a meeting held at CCHS, Friday Sept 18th, during Aspire/advisory time for any student 9th thru 12th that are interested in joining the Packer Bass fishing team.

- this is just an informal meeting to give out info and answer any questions so that prospective students can also relay info to their parents.

- A mandatory parent/angler meeting will be held in October (TBD) for those who decide to participate.

If you are a student at CCHS 9-12 and are interested in joining the PBF team, we will have an interest meeting at school sometime in September. Meeting date and time TBD. I will have it announced at school as well.

What you need to join!
- 9-12 grade
- a reliable partner
- access to a registered Jon boat ( you DO NOT have to have a bass boat)

Schedule/tournamnets will run from Dec to May.

Day 2 Recap!!! Three words, “a mental grind!” Both teams caught fish, only problem, they were under the slot size, even some 2lb bass didn’t make the cut. Very frustrating to find fish, catch them, and have nothing to show for it!! 110 boats have not weighed a single fish!! It’s a different world fishing on vertical rock walls that sit in 100ft of water and a lake that is 17ft below summer pool!! No cover!! So it’s open water fishing mostly. Accompanied with lots of sunshine and bath tub clear water make those bass super weary! But we got one more shot tomorrow. Everybody goes back to zero with weights for those who haven’t qualified from the previous 2 days. It’s the “Knockout Round!” Top 10 tomorrow get to fish Saturday!
