🌧️🥎 Thank You for Braving the Weather! 🥎🌧️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight and attempted to participate in our open practice! Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and just didn’t want to cooperate. ⛈️

While we didn’t get the practice in, we loved seeing both familiar and new faces and appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we navigated the weather. 🩵

The countdown is on! Just 2 Mondays left to come meet our coaches, get on the field, and see what LPSC is all about. 💪🩵

🥎 Open to all players eligible for 8U, 10U, and 12U for the 2026-2027 season.

🥎☀️ OPEN PRACTICE IS STILL ON! ☀️🥎

We may have gotten a lot of rain, but our fields held up great! 🩵👏

If you were planning to come to open practice tonight, come on down! We will be running the full 2-hour practice as scheduled.

We may make a few adjustments to the practice plan to work around any soft spots, but the girls will still get a full evening of softball, learning, and fun. 🥎💪

Parents are welcome to stay and hang out during practice, especially since we’ll be keeping an eye on the weather. If a storm happens to roll in, we’ll already have everyone together and can make any necessary adjustments quickly. ⛈️

A huge shoutout to our field committee and volunteers who work hard behind the scenes to keep our fields in great shape and ready for moments just like this. 👏

🥎🩵If there was one word for this weekend, it would be: PERSEVERANCE. 🩵🥎

Our 12U Lady Potters earned a 3rd-place finish in the Gold Bracket this weekend, but the path there was anything but easy.

There were challenges. There were frustrations. There were moments when things didn’t go as expected. Through it all, these girls kept showing up, competing, and supporting one another. 👏

After an emotional first bracket game, the Lady Potters had to quickly regroup and refocus for a matchup against Spoon River Rampage. When that game was unexpectedly called before the allotted time had expired, both teams wanted the same thing: the opportunity to let the girls finish the game on the field.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Without letting the situation overshadow the reason everyone was there, the players from both teams took the field and finished what they started. The energy was incredible. The girls were excited. They wanted to compete. They wanted to play softball. 🥎💪

In the end, LPSC secured the win and a 3rd-place finish in the Gold Bracket, but the biggest takeaway wasn’t the hardware. It was the reminder that youth sports are about the athletes. It’s about giving them opportunities to compete, grow, overcome adversity, and create memories with their teammates.

We’re proud of the way these girls handled themselves all weekend. When things got difficult, they chose perseverance. And that’s something worth celebrating. 🩵🔥

🥎🥈 Silver Bracket Runner-Up! 🥈🥎

Congratulations to our 10U Lady Potters on a fantastic weekend and a 2nd place finish in the Silver Bracket! 🩵👏

The girls opened Sunday with a win over Dunlap 9U to earn their spot in the championship game against Dunlap 10U. They battled hard all day long, with strong pitching, timely defense, and a team that never stopped competing. 💪🥎

In the championship game, the Lady Potters fell 5-1 against a tough opponent, but they never stopped fighting. They competed from the first pitch to the last and showed exactly how much they have grown this season. 🔥

What stood out most this weekend wasn’t a trophy or a scoreline—it was the confidence, resilience, and determination this team displayed. Every game was another opportunity to learn, improve, and prove to themselves what they’re capable of.

Our girls should be incredibly proud of the way they represented LPSC this weekend. The hard work is paying off, and this team continues to take steps forward every time they step on the field. 🩵🥎

This weekend was another reminder that these Lady Potters can compete with anyone when they play their game. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish next. 🔥

🥎🔥 WHAT A DAY FOR THE LADY POTTERS! 🔥🥎

Both LPSC teams came through with HUGE wins today! 🩵💪

⭐ 10U defeated Capitol City Chaos to finish as the #2 seed in pool play and earn a spot in Sunday’s Silver Bracket.

⭐ 12U defeated East Peoria Express 12U to finish as the #2 seed in pool play and advance to Sunday’s Gold Bracket.

After a challenging start to the tournament, both teams responded exactly how great teams do — by staying together, competing hard, and taking care of business when it mattered most. 👏🥎

🥎🩵 More Than the Scoreboard 🩵🥎

LPSC took two tough losses in pool play last night, but these girls are ready to come back today and keep fighting. 💪

Softball can be a funny game. Calls don’t always go your way. Mistakes happen. Adversity shows up when you least expect it. What matters is how you respond.

And that’s where our Lady Potters shined. ✨

From the coaches, to the players, to the families in the stands, everyone represented LPSC with class, respect, and a positive attitude. No excuses. No poor sportsmanship. Just a group of people committed to supporting each other and competing the right way.

We’re incredibly proud of how our teams carry themselves on and off the field. Because sometimes winning isn’t measured by the score at the end of the game. Sometimes winning is showing resilience, demonstrating character, and proving that respect for the game and others still matters. 💙🥎

🥎🔥 12U Picks Up Another HOI League Win! 🔥🥎

Congratulations to our 12U Lady Potters on their HOI regulation win last night over 1:9 Legacy 11U! 🩵💪

This game was packed with excitement from start to finish. Both teams erupted for 7 runs in the 5th inning, keeping the game deadlocked and turning up the pressure.

But these Lady Potters don’t back down. 💥

LPSC answered with a 3-run 6th inning and then slammed the door shut with a 1-2-3 inning to secure the victory! 👏🥎

These girls continue to prove they can handle pressure and rise to the occasion when it matters most. What a fun game to watch!

🥎🔥 A Big Night for the Lady Potters! 🔥🥎

Congratulations to both our 10U and 12U teams on bringing home wins last night! 💙💪

The 12U doubleheader against Central Illinois Blitz featured one of the wildest games of the season. After a hard-fought battle, the game reached the end of the time limit tied at 10-10. Rather than ending in a tie, both teams agreed to play one more inning.

And then… the Lady Potters’ bats EXPLODED. 💥🥎

LPSC put up 10 runs in the top of the 6th to take control of the game. Central Illinois Blitz had one last chance to answer, but the Lady Potters locked things down with a 1-2-3 inning to seal the victory! 👏🔥

Talk about grit, resilience, and refusing to quit. What a team effort!

12U heads back to Normal tonight for an HOI Softball League doubleheader against 1:9 Legacy 11U beginning at 6:00 PM. These games will help wrap up the Lady Potters’ required HOI league schedule as they continue a strong season. 💪🥎
