Nationals 2026‼️

The Redbirds have finished another College Disc Golf National Championship. While we didn’t end up at the top of the leaderboard we still had an amazing time. It really is a pleasure to have the opportunity to travel across the country and play some of the best courses around, as well as getting to compete against the best that College Disc Golf has to offer.

We also want to take a moment to give a huge thank you and show our appreciation to all the seniors. Your leadership and love for this club has rubbed off on all of us and is not soon to be forgotten.❤️

Another thank you to all the staff and volunteers this week that made it such an amazing experience for us and everyone else that competed.

Also a big thanks to our sponsor for your support in us and our sweet polos we got to rock all week long.

We cannot wait to get back out there next year, and as always…

This past weekend we competed in the Midwest Collegiate Takeover II. This was an amazing event right at our home course at Northwood park. For the D1 side our guys were able to take down 3rd place in teams, while took home the singles win in the most unbelievable way possible, ACING hole 1 at blues in the first hole of the playoff.

And in D3, was able to grab 2nd place and .comedy 3rd place in singles. Congrats boys great rounds!

While this weekend over didn’t go how we planned we still had a great time competing with such great competition and being a part of this awesome community.

Also want to give a big thanks to our sponsor for these sweet polos, the Birds look clean out there on the course.

And one last HUGE shoutout to who was the TD for this event. It was ran perfectly and we can’t wait to get back here next year!

We have one more tournament this fall in Emporia so be on the lookout for that and Roll Birds!

🕸️ 5th Annual Spooktacular Doubles 🕸️

Thank you to everyone who came out to show support for the club - we appreciate every single one of you! This season wouldn’t be possible without y’all.

Next up, we’ve got our “home” tournament this weekend at Northwoods, followed by our final event of the semester in Emporia in mid-November.

Huge thanks to for organizing this tournament every year - your dedication to the program is unmatched!

Illinois State Spooky Doubles Tournament Oct. 19th

There will also be an optional raffle with many different prizes if you’re feeling lucky! All proceeds will go to the Illinois State Disc Golf Club.

Redbird SWEEP!

In D1 Singles Connor Willcoxen takes it down with a -9, 1007 rated round, and in D2 Derrek Thompson takes it down with a -6.

For the teams, D1 won in commanding fashion with a total of -35 and an 8 stroke margin over second. D2 pulled off a win as well shooting -23 for the weekend for the tournament sweep.

Amazing weekend for the Redbirds, we’re ready to roll going into Northwoods in 2 weeks.
