We hosted a crew from out of state who were eager to catch vermillion rock fish and lingcod. Remarkably, we reached our limits for both species in under an hour and a half. For time-conscious anglers, our half-day trip provides an excellent chance to engage in power fishing.

Here’s a little sea tale for the books! We had a family of five aboard—mom, dad, and three adventurous kids. The ocean had other plans, though—Mom braved some serious seasickness but stayed strong the whole trip, a true champ! When she finally called it, we headed back—but not before landing some beauties! Dad later turned those rockfish and petrale sole into golden deliciousness. Check out the catch, the feast, and the memories! Mom’s spirit was the real catch of the day. 🎣
