Sometimes the best cure for seasickness is a good sea shanty!

One of our guests told us she has to sing the whole ride out or she’ll get seasick. Her friends didn’t hesitate to join in, and before long the boat turned into a floating concert. Safe to say the fish got front row seats too! 😂🐟

These are the moments that make every trip memorable. Great people, great laughs, and an unforgettable day on the water.

So, there I am, about 75 feet down in Morro Bay, minding my own business, when I spot this lingcod trying to play hide-and-seek in the reef. I follow him like we’re in an underwater game of tag—except he wins. He vanishes into the deep, leaving me staring at rocks and pondering my next move!

Days like this are what it’s all about!

Glass-calm water, blue skies as far as the eye could see, and one unforgettable catch!

This young angler absolutely crushed it by landing an incredible 33-inch lingcod, and you could see the pride written all over that smile. Moments like these remind us why we love getting people out on the water. It’s not always just about the fish. It’s about building memories, learning new skills, and creating a passion that can last a lifetime.

The youth are the future of our fisheries, and there’s nothing better than seeing the next generation hooked on the outdoors instead of a screen. Every trip is a chance to inspire tomorrow’s fishermen and women, and today was a perfect example of that.

Congratulations on an epic catch, buddy! That’s a lingcod you’ll be talking about for years to come!

Who knows… we may have just watched the start of a future captain.

Our longtime customer put another beautiful lingcod on the deck after fishing nearly 300 feet below the surface off Morro Bay. Days like these are about more than the catch. They’re about great company, unforgettable memories, and sharing another adventure on the Pacific.
