It has taken me a couple weeks to post this. Over the many years of horses in my life and the losses of many a great one, this one kinda hit me hard. I guess because it was the final end of the dynamic duo. Stormy has been in my life for 21 years! We lost his buddy “Spice” a few years ago and “Stormy” has crossed the rainbow bridge and back with his buddy now. I will never forget the day Libby (Barn Mom) came into the barn telling me about this little guy in a back yard with weeds taller than him and we have to get him! So of course, we did! Oh the many adventures over the years with these two! The joy and smiles from the children. The two adventures I think of the most is when I get a call in the middle of the night and they got out of turn out area and was running around in Bent Tree! Took a lil while to catch them with all the winding roads and hills! Then moved here to Tennessee and they escaped again up the mountain behind the barn! We got lucky again and found them! I could write a book about all their shenanigans. I am very blessed to have had them and have so many photos and memories! Running free now ❤️🐴💔 All my barn girls from GA to TN share your stories and photos!

Puddles is here to help with the summer camps and lessons. He did very good today with Scarlett. They both enjoyed their time together.

We have had such a rainy winter so to keep my students learning about horses, which is not just about riding, I have 2 Saturdays out of the month and I teach Equine Science and it has been so much fun! If it is raining we focus on different scientific topics, including feeding, anatomy, organs, judging, history of Equines and much more. When weather is nice we include topics that are hands on the horses which have included taking the pulse and heart rate of a horse, temperature of the horse,how to wrap a leg properly, parts of the hoof, abscess and laminitis, founder and colic. So today was gorgeous outside and one of the fun things we learned was about Native American markings and what they stood for and painted a few on Diesel. Not sure Diesel enjoyed it, look at the expression on his face 😂. If you have a child and maybe own or horse, or would like to get them in my program, please send me a message.
