We Have Had Enough With The Flies!! PMC Orphan Annie doing her part to trap the annoying twerps...

If you guessed PMC Orphan Annie you are correct. Her nickname is the G.O.A.T Born on June 27th 2018. Shawn was there to watch her come into the world as I watched with my Grandma via a video call. I was headed into the Frank the following morning so it would be 8 days until I returned and met her in person. She was born with a roan patch in the center of her forehead. It reminded me of my very first mule, her name was Pepper and she had the same white patch. Pepper had passed the prior year, this felt like she was saying "Hi".
Little did we know that in 3 short weeks Annies mom would pass suddenly in the night and leave this Orphan for us to care for. It was touch and go in the beginning, but we were full of hope and she was full life. We put our mule Mouse in with her right away for a surrogate and taught her to drink milk from a bucket. She thrived.
Tonight when the summer air cools slightly and I step up on this sweet girl, I will think of those days, I will think of Pepper and I will smile and I will be Thankful for all of it.
