📣🚨 NEW STAFF ALERT AT TDL! 🚨📣
Season 3 keeps getting better! 🤎 We are SO excited to welcome Rachel Adams and Jenna Cousino to The Dance Loft staff!
✨ MEET MS. RACHEL! ✨
Rachel Adams brings over 20 years of dance instruction and choreography experience to TDL! Her dance journey began right here in Monroe, Michigan at just 5 years old, training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and competitive dance.
Rachel continued her education at Eastern Michigan University, graduating summa cm laude with a B.S. in Dance Performance & Choreography. During her time at EMU, she performed in numerous faculty and guest concerts, attended the American College Dance Festival, and received recognition for both choreography and academic research.
Throughout her career, Rachel has taught and choreographed for numerous studios across Metro Detroit and served as the Co-Director/Manager of Studio 3 in Ann Arbor from 2016–2020. Her love for working with children extends beyond the studio, as she currently works as a paraprofessional with Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Rachel brings an incredible amount of knowledge, experience, and heart to the classroom, and we are so lucky to have her sharing her love of dance with our TDL dancers! 🤍
✨ MEET MS. JENNA! ✨
Originally from Southwest Florida, Jenna Cousino began dancing and performing competitively at just 3 years old! She went on to attend Cypress Lake Center for the Arts, where she studied as a dance major at the performing arts high school.
Jenna brings an especially strong background in tap, with over 20 years of training, along with extensive experience in jazz, ballet, pointe, modern, composition, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop.
Jenna has already shared her talent with our TDL dancers as a guest faculty member at our Summer Intensive, and we couldn't be more excited to officially welcome her to our staff for Season 3! 🖤
We are incredibly proud of the team we are building at The Dance Loft. Bringing educators into our dancers' lives who are experienced, passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their growth is something we will always value.
