Huge congratulations to Monroe’s own Zamir Austin on qualifying for the MHSAA State Finals in the High Jump after earning Regional Runner-Up honors!

Zamir has put together an outstanding season, consistently competing at a high level and clearing a season best of 6’4”. His work ethic, competitiveness, and commitment to improving every week helped earn him a spot among the best in the state.

From day one, Zamir has continued to rise to every challenge and represent Monroe Track & Field the right way. We’re proud of everything he’s accomplished so far and excited to see him compete on the biggest stage.
