🥎 ATTENTION ALL INCOMING 7TH & 8TH GRADE GIRLS! 🥎

Are you interested in playing softball for MMS this spring? Now is the time to get involved and start preparing for the upcoming season!

Beginning next week, we will be offering both Strength & Conditioning Training and 4-Man Softball Workouts for incoming 7th and 8th grade students interested in becoming a Monroe Trojan Softball player.

Strength & Conditioning Training - Beginning June 22nd
Mondays | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Wednesdays | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
📍 Monroe High School Weight Room
Led by Coach Brad Bielaniec

4-Man Softball Workouts - Beginning June 23rd
Tuesdays | 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Wednesdays | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
📍 Monroe High School Varsity Softball Field

⚠️ Due to MHSAA regulations, only 4 athletes may participate in each softball workout session. A spot must be reserved in advance to attend.

*No workouts will take place June 28 - July 5th*
*Workouts will resume as scheduled beginning July 6th*

These opportunities are designed to help athletes improve their strength, skills, confidence, and prepare for a successful spring season. Whether you're returning to the field or interested in trying softball for the first time, we'd love to have you join us!

We are excited to continue building and growing the Monroe Trojan Softball program and can't wait to work with our future Trojans.

Monroe battled all day but came up just short and lost 11-10 in the Districts to Bedford.

In this up and down season for the Trojans the girls came out and played with energy and gave it there very best.

Sierra Daniels had a great day going 4 for 4 with 2 RBI, Aly Lewis had a Double, Home Run and 3 Walks on the day, Jennah Cadle had two hits on the day to lead the Trojans who finish the season 18 and 16.

Last night our 7th Grade team celebrated with an end of season team night/banquet.

Each girl was given a Certificate of Completion, an Individual Award, a Pock Hug Charm, and a custom keychain.

The season was based on growth and not record. From day one to the final day the growth and improvement from each individual player was huge. These girls never gave up, worked together as a team, and showed up everyday with positive attitudes.

We are excited to see these girls grow and develop under Monroe Softball!

District Information for Saturday, May 30th

-Everyone must come in the Main Entrance.

-There will be absolutely NO parking by the field. All parking must be in the school parking lot.

-There will be a golf cart to transport anyone with handicap needs from the parking lot to the field.

-A tent will be set up between the softball and baseball fields where you will enter to the softball field with your purchased ticket.

-All tickets must be purchased online via GoFan. This is a MHSAA State Tournament so admission is required for all adults and children.
