So proud of these two and their hard work! Ronni had her first RX debut, turns out Coach K was right, she can hang with the big dogs after all! They absolutely crushed it at the R.E.D WOD and Blue comp by winning 1st in all but one event! Way to show up and REPRESENT! Thank you to Crossfit MKT for yet another amazing event!

The Murph.

Grueling. Tiring. Lengthy. Difficult.

A workout that pushes your body, tests your mindset, and reminds you what you're capable of when you refuse to quit.

But while the miles, pull-ups, push-ups, and squats challenge us, it's important to remember why we do it. Murph is more than a workout—it's a tribute. An opportunity to honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

As hard as this challenge feels, it doesn't compare to the ultimate sacrifice made by those who gave their lives in service to our country. We are fortunate to have the ability to choose discomfort for a few hours, while they gave everything.

Proud of our community for showing up, digging deep, cheering each other on, and carrying the spirit of remembrance through every rep.

Remember the fallen. Honor the sacrifice. Never forget.

Sending these two strong gals with all of our luck this weekend as they head to Columbia to to compete in the women's RX division. This will be Ronni's RX debut as she fills in for Coach K, who double booked the event. She rose to the occasion to fill a roll, and we know that Nicki is in good hands with a strong determined partner. They've been practicing hard, and together we are sure that we will find them on the podium by the end of the weekend. Remember hydrate, fuel the body, and breathe 💙❤️

There’s something special about watching a community come together for the Murph Challenge ❤️🇺🇸

Today wasn’t about pace, leaderboard spots, or perfect scores. It was about showing up. For something bigger than ourselves. For the meaning behind Murph. For the people beside us struggling through the same hard moments.

As coaches, we get to see a lot inside these walls — but days like today remind us why this community is so different. The exhausted smiles after a hard round. The strangers becoming teammates. The nonstop cheering from spectators. The high fives after every finish. The way no one was left to struggle alone.

Murph is meant to be hard. And somehow, every year, this community proves that hard things become a little easier when you have people beside you reminding you to keep going.
To every athlete who showed up and gave their all, to every coach encouraging through the tough moments, and to every person who stayed to cheer until the very last finisher — thank you.

This is what Headstrong is about. Heart, grit, sacrifice, and community.

And from a coach’s perspective, there is truly nothing cooler than watching people discover how strong they really are. ❤️💙

What a great read💙❤️

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office would like to give a special shoutout to our very own local CrossFit gym, Magic City Barbell, for nominating both Captain Ward and our office for the LMNT “Give A Salt” initiative.

Captain Ward, who is also a proud member of Magic City Barbell, was honored alongside the agency through this initiative, which recognizes individuals and organizations making a positive impact on the health and well-being of others within their communities. As part of this recognition, LMNT provided electrolyte products as a token of appreciation.

Magic City Barbell shared the following message with our office:

“Thank you for all of your work the last couple of weeks. Hope these help you all get hydrated and show at least some of us appreciate you all!”

Magic City Barbell has also been a tremendous community partner by hosting the Moberly Area SWAT Team during their annual physical fitness qualifications, further demonstrating their continued support of first responders and public safety efforts throughout our region.

Thank you, Magic City Barbell, for your continued support and generosity. We are grateful to be part of a community that consistently comes together to support one another, and we truly appreciate the encouragement, partnership, and support shown by our community. Gestures like this remind us how fortunate we are to serve alongside people and organizations that continue to stand behind law enforcement and first responders.
