🥋 HISTORY MADE AT FIRST STATE KARATE 🥋

Tonight, we celebrate a milestone six years in the making.

Please join us in congratulating Seth Thorp on earning his Junior Black Belt, becoming the first student in First State Karate history to achieve the rank of Black Belt since we opened our doors in 2020.

What makes this accomplishment even more special is that Seth has been with us from the very beginning. We have watched him grow not only as a martial artist, but as a young man of character, perseverance, and determination.

A black belt is not awarded for talent alone. It is earned through years of showing up, pushing through challenges, overcoming setbacks, and refusing to quit. Seth has embodied those values every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of you, Seth. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. Your achievement will forever be part of First State Karate history.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Nunchaku Seminar at First State Karate on Saturday, June 20th!

A nunchaku is a traditional Okinawan karate weapon, popularized in the 1970s by Bruce Lee and later by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s an incredible tool for building coordination, focus, and confidence, and now you can learn how to use it!

What an incredible day at the First State Karate Tournament! 🥋🔥

We are so proud of every single competitor who stepped onto the mat. The effort, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the day truly represented the spirit of martial arts. Whether you took home a trophy or simply challenged yourself to compete, you should be proud of what you accomplished.

A special thank you to Polander Academy of Martial Arts and Doug's Martial Arts for coming out and supporting our tournament. We truly appreciate you bringing your talented students and being part of such a positive and competitive event.
