Today we say goodbye to someone who meant so much to our Doug’s Martial Arts family—Cody Phillips. 💔

Cody wasn’t just a student here… he was family. From the moment he stepped on the mat, he brought heart, dedication, and a spirit that lifted everyone around him. Whether he was training, laughing with teammates, or pushing through a tough class, he left an impact that won’t be forgotten.

Our school is more than a place to train—it’s a community, a second home—and Cody was a big part of that. His presence will be deeply missed by all of us who had the honor of knowing him.

We will carry his memory with us in every class, every challenge, and every moment of growth. Rest easy, Cody. You’ll always be part of this family. 🥋

I just want to congratulate these kids for doing an amazing job on Doug's Martial Arts first official tournament sense opening in September of 2025 id like to congratulate Haylee Layfield on 1st place in forms and 1st place in sparing Kali for 2nd place in sparing Maddie for 2nd place in forms Ryland for 1st place in sparing Kory for first place in sparing and Rama for 2nd place in forms you all did an amazing job we are very proud of you!!!
