This is what getting out on the water is all about!

We had Leroy, Matt, Evie, Matthew, and Preston join us for a special family trip on Lake Michigan and for these three kids, it was their first time ever salmon fishing!

The bite made us work for them, but we had well over 15 hits throughout the trip, giving these kids plenty of opportunities to experience just how powerful Lake Michigan salmon can be!

Evie, Matthew, and Preston worked hard on every fish. Watching them grab the rods, battle their first salmon, and experience it all together made this trip pretty special.

These are the days we love being a part of. Years from now, it won't just be about how many fish made it into the boat it’ll be about remembering their first salmon fishing trip together as a family.

This trip was a special one! We finally got Russ Shappee (Pops) out on Lake Michigan, and Dewey joined us for the fun!

The fish decided to cooperate, and at one point we had 5 FISH laying on the floor! Talk about some chaos in the best possible way!

But this trip was about a whole lot more than filling the boat. Getting Pops out there, sharing some laughs, catching fish, and making memories with family is what it’s all about.

Awesome day with Russ and Dewey and one we won’t forget anytime soon!

Erin, Michael, and Mark came back for their 2nd annual trip with Rippin Drag Charters, and apparently the fish wanted to make sure it was one to remember!

THREE TRIPLES! And that was just part of the madness! Rods were firing, fish were coming from every direction, and these guys were BUSY!

They did an awesome job keeping up with the action and put some great quality fish in the box with plenty of them headed straight for the smoker!

These are the days we live for. Great fishing, nonstop action, lots of laughs, and even better people to share the boat with!

A huge THANK YOU to Erin, Michael, and Mark for coming back to fish with us again! We already can’t wait to see what trip #3 has in store!

There’s nothing better than seeing kids who absolutely LOVE to fish! Kaelynn, Carter, and Chase came ready for action and did an awesome job getting these fish all the way to the net!

Our time on the water was short, but these three made every minute count. They got it done!

The Rippin Drag crew was busy this weekend!

We had some great trips, plenty of action, laughs, and memories made on Lake Michigan.

Then there was one of those days where the fish reminded us who’s in charge. We worked hard, changed things up, and threw everything we had at them, but sometimes the bite is just TOUGH. That’s fishing and we appreciate our crew for sticking with it and making the most of the day!

A huge thank you to everyone who chose to spend part of their weekend with Rippin Drag Charters. We truly appreciate every trip and every person who steps aboard!

Only a few weekends remain on the big lake!

What a trip with Ron, Eric, and Buddy! First and foremost, we want to thank these Veterans for their service to our country. It was an absolute pleasure having them aboard Rippin Drag Charters!

The fishing was great, but the laughs, stories, and nonstop good times made this trip one we won’t soon forget. And then things got absolutely crazy at one point we had six fish laying on the bottom of the boat at the same time!

Ron, Eric, and Buddy did an awesome job keeping things organized in the chaos and getting those fish in the boat. When the rods started firing, these guys were ready!
Great fishing. Great stories. Plenty of laughs. And even better company.

Thank you again for your service, gentlemen, and for spending the day with Rippin Drag Charters. We’re already looking forward to the next trip!
