It was an awesome home event on Saturday at Maloit Park. First of all, a big thank you to everyone who helped to put it on. We had a huge number of our X-C community out there to support! (Including current family members, alumni, past coaches and all sorts of fiends of the program). We had people helping on the course, setting up the course, parking, registration, announcing, timing, prepping and much more. Thanks to everyone who donated to the snack bucket and that donated their time. Also thanks to VRD for all the timing, and to all the coaches for all their hard work, setting up and taking down the course, including the weeks of prep leading up to the event. There were also 7 awesome races including the high school, middle school and open races. More thanks to everyone who ran and supported our team through the open race. A gigantic thank you to all who pitched in!
Our teams did fantastic too! Isla Elton and the JV girls won their races, while JV Boys were 3rd, and the Varsity Girls and Boys placed 4th our of 17 high school teams. All of our runners gave in their all on a very tough course. Congrats to all of our runners and our entire X-C family on a fantastic day!
