On Thursday, May 21, the JV Lady Jays traveled to Menomonie for their final game of the season.

Although Menomonie was unable to play a full match due to low player numbers, that didn't stop the Lady Jays from showcasing the skills and determination they've demonstrated all season long. The defense was outstanding from start to finish, communicating well and protecting their goal flawlessly.

For her exceptional defensive performance, freshman defender Bethany Crockford earned the Princess of the Pitch crown!

The Lady Jays closed out their season with grit, teamwork, and pride.

Great job, Lady Jays!

On Tuesday, May 19, the JV Lady Jays hosted the Lakeland Thunderbirds at Jay Stadium.

Coach Mandi once again challenged the team to strike early, and the Lady Jays delivered. Just 5:22 into the match, left striker Julia Fleischman came through with a clutch finish after a quick pass from right striker Norah Elliott. Crashing the net, Julia placed the ball perfectly into the lower-left corner for her first high school goal, earning her the Princess of the Pitch crown.

The Lady Jays tightened up defensively for the remainder of the game and battled hard on both ends of the field. Despite their strong effort, the Thunderbirds capitalized on a few fortunate breakaways in the second half, resulting in a 2-1 final score.

It was a hard-fought match from start to finish.

Great effort, Lady Jays!
