Exciting News for Muskie Fans!

I had the chance to sit down with the Gregg Thomas from Muskie Road Rules for a podcast episode where we talked all things Haymaker Lures — how I build them, the ideas behind the designs, and what keeps me carving cedar year after year.

Thank You for an Incredible Weekend at the Minnesota Muskie Expo!

I just want to send a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Haymaker Lures booth this weekend. Your support, conversations, stories, and enthusiasm mean more than you know. Seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks who share the same passion for muskies is what makes this event so special every year.

A big shoutout as well to Paul Hartman and his entire team for putting on another fantastic Minnesota Muskie Expo. The new venue, the energy, the crowd—everything came together for an awesome show. Their hard work truly makes this event what it is.

I’m grateful for all of you who continue to support Haymaker Lures and the craft behind each bait. Can’t wait to see these lures get put to work on the water this season!

🎣 The Minnesota Muskie Expo is almost here — just TWO days away!

I’m fired up to talk muskies, swap stories, and show off some brand‑new creations. You’ll find me this year at Booth 59!

📍 New venue alert:
The Expo has moved to Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN.
Doors open Friday, 2/27 at 1pm — come early and hang out.

🔥 What’s new in the booth this year:

These are the last of the new patterns that I will have at the MN Muskie Expo. The small mouth pattern has had a lot of requests. I will be posted the full lineups and where my booth is located early next week.

I couldn't decide on which shad pattern to do for the show this year so I did a couple. Tell me what one is your favorite in the comments. Painted up a rainbow river shad and a sexy shad pattern. These will be available Minnesota Muskie Expo which is just 10 short days away!!!!

Firetiger and Inferno Perch were on the epoxy wheel this weekend. Still thinking of a name for the blue/green/chartreuse. Any ideas hit me up in the comments.
