It's great to see a current Xavier Soccer Player and a future Xavier Soccer Player in action off the pitch, demonstrating the values we look to instill in our players.

Feel Good Friday 👏

Earlier this week, our President received a heartfelt letter from an Appleton resident named Karen (and the spouse of a Xavier ‘63 graduate). After last week’s blizzard, Karen and her husband were unable to clear their driveway and sidewalks. She shared, “I honestly didn’t know if we would ever get through it… when what to my wandering eyes should appear, but two angels carrying a shovel!” Those “angels” were Jack ‘28 and Ben ‘31.

They stepped in without hesitation, clearing the driveway and sidewalk and bringing a sense of relief—and kindness—when it was needed most.

We are so proud of Ben and Jack for truly living out the Xavier mission and showing what it means to serve others.

Early Bird Pricing for Celebrate 2026 is live. This year, a new Young Alumni Admission fee of $100 is being introduced. To qualify, you need to have graduated between 2015 and 2025.

A table seats 10 people. I challenge our Xavier Soccer Alumni to come and fill a "Xavier Soccer" table (or two) at Celebrate. We have also heard that there will be an Open Bar from 5 PM to 9 PM. A $100 is a bargain for a great night of food, drink, and fellowship. Early Bird pricing ends on January 5, 2025.

Let's have a contest with Xavier Hawks Girls Soccer to see who can get the most Alumni there!

P.S. - There is also early Bird pricing for us "old folks" at $125 per seat.

Xavier Soccer Fans, with the 2025 Soccer Banquet in the books, we can announce the Xavier Soccer Members of the Bay Conference All-Conference Teams and our Xavier Soccer Team Awards. Keep in mind the Team awards are voted on by their teammates, while the Hawl award is chosen by the Coaches.

Morning Xavier Soccer Fans,

One last bit on the State Tournament, Notre Dame lost in the State Final Game for D3 to Catholic Memorial 2 to 1. Notre Dame has only won 3 Boys Soccer State Championships; Xavier has won 4. Notre Dame has been one of Xavier's long-time rivals, and the games are always contentious because of this history.

For D4, Sturgeon Bay lost to Oostburg in the State Final in the second overtime period. 1 to 0. What is interesting is that Sturgeon Bay's trip from Sectionals always had the game go to overtime.

The Catholic Memorial Crusaders are the 2025 Division 3 State Champions!🏆

The Crusaders returned to State for the first time since 2011 and have now earned their programs 2nd State title!🔥Congratulations Catholic Memorial!⚽️

Some State Soccer Tournament Updates:

Sturgeon Bay is headed to the Division 4 championship game. Sturgeon Bay has advanced to the D4 title game with a 3-2 overtime victory over Arcadia. The Clippers will play Oostburg in the title game at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 8.

The WIAA boys soccer state tournament starts with semifinals in Divisions 1 and 4.

Xavier Hawks Soccer wants to thank the fans who came down to Kiel to cheer us on this past Saturday. You could feel the stadium rumble when our fans cheered. We are also grateful that Xavier still has hardy students who don't need a shirt in November.

The fans all year have come out in any weather to support our boys, and they truly appreciate it. We look forward to the upcoming Xavier Hawks Girls Soccer season.

While we have long-time Xavier Soccer Parents and Alumni that follow this page, we also have newer parents, players, and families. Some perspective for the newer supporters. It has been a long time since the boys' team made it to the Sectional finals, only 2 years apart (2023 & 2025). Runner-up at Sectionals is still a "Big Deal".

Remember the Legacy of Xavier Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer, as no other sport at Xavier has had as many state Championships as the Soccer Teams - 4 each ( https://www.xaviercatholicschools.org/athletics/index ).
