Summer always finds a way to reminds me to slow down. In Ayurveda, this is the season to cool the body and not push so hard. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is connected to the Heart, with the emotion of Joy, and connection.
For me, yoga brings these ideas together, creating space to slow down, listen inward, and move with greater ease.
Move softer. Breathe deeper. Drink the cooling herbs. Spend time near water. Laugh more.
Rest when your body asks.
Summer doesn’t have to be about doing more.
Maybe it’s about feeling more present, more open, and more connected to your heart.❤️
