You're not competing against them. You're inspired by them.

One of the best parts of group fitness: someone else's effort quietly raises yours.

FOODIE FRIDAY

FOOD LABELS can be really important to understand and “read”. They are the key to choosing portion sizes and foods that support the health you want.

But, they can seem overwhelming, so the trick is to focus on a few key things and the label becomes much easier to understand.

When you pick up a packaged food, start with these:

✅ Serving Size and Calories – Gives you an idea of how much energy you’re getting per serving.

✅ Protein – One of the most important nutrients for maintaining muscle, supporting metabolism, and helping you stay satisfied longer. Aim to include a quality protein source at every meal.

✅ Carbohydrates – Your body’s preferred source of energy. Look beyond the total carbs and pay attention to fiber.

✅ Fiber – One of the most overlooked nutrients! Fiber supports gut health, helps manage blood sugar, and keeps you feeling full. Higher is generally better.

✅ Fat – Healthy fats are important for hormones, brain health, and nutrient absorption.

The 3 most impactful things I recommend checking first in a serving size:

1️⃣ Protein – Does it provide enough to support your goals?
2️⃣ Fiber – Is it helping you meet your daily fiber needs?
3️⃣ Ingredients List – Can you recognize most of the ingredients? Generally, fewer and simpler ingredients are better.

Don’t let marketing claims on the front of the package make the decision for you.

The nutrition label and ingredient list tell the real story.

These folks survived "Maycember" 😉

The month revolved around Muscle, Mobility, Mental Health, and Momentum. We built them all up in May and are determined to carry it into June and all summer long 💪

FOODIE FRIDAY

PROTEIN

As a coach, I know I probably sound like a broken “protein advocate” record sometimes 😅… but there’s a reason I keep talking about it, so hear me out.

Protein is the MOST important macronutrient when it comes to helping your body and health feel, function, and perform better.

Why?

• It helps preserve and build lean muscle, especially important as we age

• It keeps you fuller longer and helps reduce cravings/snacking

• It supports metabolism, recovery, hormones, blood sugar balance, energy, and even healthy aging

Most people are not eating enough protein consistently throughout the day, and it can make fat loss, strength, energy, and overall health feel so much harder.
Women aim for about 100g daily
Men aim for about 160g daily

Here’s your PROTEIN MASTER LIST for ideas 👇

Animal-Based Protein Sources:
🥩 🍖 🍗 🥚 🍣🍨🍤
• Chicken
• Turkey
• Lean beef
• Fish (salmon, tuna, cod, sardines)
• Shrimp
• Eggs
• Greek yogurt
• Cottage cheese
• String cheese
• Protein shakes/bars

Vegetarian/Vegan Protein Sources:
🫘🥜🍶🌰🥙
• Tofu
• Tempeh
• Edamame
• Lentils
• Chickpeas
• Black beans
• Quinoa
• H**p seeds
• Chia seeds
• Nuts/nut butters (has some protein)
• Plant-based protein powders

Simple goal: try building each meal around a protein source first.
It’s a game changer.

What started as “just showing up” turned into momentum.
Momentum turned into consistency.
Consistency turned into strength.
And somewhere along the way, people started realizing they’re capable of a whole lot more than they thought.

This month brought heavy lifts, stronger bodies, clearer minds, and confidence that carries far beyond the gym walls.

We pushed hard.
We recovered intentionally.
We stayed mobile so we could keep getting stronger.

And the best part?
We’re not done yet. 🔥💪

MAGDALENA'S STORY

"I joined FIT360 because I wanted to feel stronger, healthier, and more consistent with taking care of myself. I was looking for accountability, structure, and a place that would push me while still being supportive.

Since joining, I've gained strength, confidence, and more energy in my everyday life. I feel better physically and mentally, and I'm more motivated to keep making healthy choices outside the gym. The workouts are efficient, challenging, and doable, even with a full schedule.

I'm a busy parent, so having a 30-minute workout that actually makes a difference has been a game-changer. FIT360 has helped me prioritize my health without feeling overwhelmed, and that's made a big impact on my overall well-being.

I enjoy Full Body days -- challenging but rewarding. My absolute favorite is Mobility 😊

I can get up off the floor without using my hands—my legs are finally strong enough, and that’s HUGE for me!
I can easily pick up my two-year-old and carry her for as long as I need without getting exhausted like I used to.
I have so much more energy every day, and I’m lifting slightly heavier weights in my workouts and feeling stronger than ever."
