EXOS is globally recognized for its elite-level performance training system used by professional athletes, military personnel, corporate wellness programs, and high-performing individuals around the world. El deterioro físico no aparece de un día para otro.

Llega poco a poco. Tan poco... que muchas personas no se dan cuenta hasta que subir escaleras cuesta más. Hasta que levantarse del suelo cuesta más. Hasta que el cuerpo deja de responder igual.

No entrenar también tiene consecuencias.

Cada año sin moverte es un año en el que pierdes masa muscular (Janssen et al., 2000: ~3-8% por década desde los 30, acelerándose tras los 50). Cada año sin estimular tu sistema cardiovascular es un año en el que pierdes capacidad aeróbica (Fleg et al., Circulation 2005: el VO2 max baja ~ 0.5%/año desde los 30, 1%/año tras los 65). Cada año sin entrenar fuerza es un año en el que pierdes potencia y reservas para resistir caídas y enfermedad.

No es genética. Es uso.

El “ya empezaré” es la decisión silenciosa que repite la gente que más se deteriora. No te das cuenta de que decidiste hasta que pasan los años.

Empezar tarde es mil veces mejor que no empezar.
